Start with a small volunteer group and a mix of everyday and difficult coding tasks.

1. Create an Entelligence API key

Open Settings → API and select Create Key. Store the key in your approved secret manager. For an Anthropic-compatible client using Proxy:

2. Choose how requests reach providers

  • Proxy routes against the Entelligence wallet.
  • BYOK routes through credentials you provide. The current dashboard supports AWS Bedrock and OpenRouter.
Switch to BYOK dialog with AWS Bedrock selected and empty credential fields
Never place provider credentials in a repository, screenshot, ticket, or chat message.

3. Start a Balanced pilot

Choose Balanced in Model Router → Overview, or use the CLI where available:
For Eco:

4. Run representative work

Include a small edit, repository question, multi-file change, debugging task, and a task that normally needs a frontier model.

5. Verify the route

Confirm that:
  • Sessions appear in Model Router → Sessions.
  • Members are attributed correctly.
  • Model, token, cost, and savings fields are populated.
  • Output quality and latency are acceptable.

6. Test rollback

Confirm the coding agent can reach its direct provider path again before expanding the pilot.
